About Peter Davidson

For the past decade I’ve owned a construction company here in Portland, called the Delightful Living Project. I’ve built new homes from the ground up, worked on many remodels, and performed historical preservations of century-old craftsman homes. This work has taken me deep into the guts of homes, throughout their attics and crawl spaces, uncovering layers of surprises in old walls. As a lifelong Oregonian, I’m familiar with the materials that have gone into old and new houses and the issues that homes can face in the Pacific Northwest. Growing up, my stepfather was a homebuilder and fine carpenter. Working with him I learned respect for craftsmanship and honed my discerning eye for the built environment.

I work to empower and educate you during the home buying process. I clearly explain my findings and provide a dynamic inspection report that can be easily filtered for high priority items.
